Suzie Card-Maker
Welcome!
I LOVE to create greeting cards. This is a place
for me to share some of my favorite cards with family,
fellow card-makers,and friends.
Update: Since I began this card-making blog in 2009, we have moved to a warm, sunny place, retired, and gotten very busy. Even though my love of making cards has not lessened, my time "for" card-making has diminished. I had actually considered taking down my blog because of my lack of time to make and post cards. Instead I will try to post more regularly with a variety of things. Please bear with me while I attempt to expand my topics.

Variation on the theme ...
This morning I am sharing another card I made yesterday for my sympathy card project through our card ministry at church. I had purchased the scallop corner and border punches from SU! this spring. I saw a card on SCS using them with the Thoughts and Prayers stamps that I am using for this project, so I decided to CASE the card. First I needed to find dimensions for the image and for the mat behind it. I found a great tutorial by Gretchen Barron regarding these punches and using them.
Inspiration in Action
Today I will probably figure out another design. Although I could just keep going with the designs I have for the rest of the 35 cards, I'd like to vary the designs.
It is a sunny morning here, but there is a chance of a severe thunderstorm sometime today. I hope wherever you are that you will have a sunny June day!
