Suzie Card-Maker

Suzie Card-Maker

Welcome!

I LOVE to create greeting cards. This is a place
for me to share some of my favorite cards with family,
fellow card-makers,and friends.
Update: Since I began this card-making blog in 2009, we have moved to a warm, sunny place, retired, and gotten very busy. Even though my love of making cards has not lessened, my time "for" card-making has diminished. I had actually considered taking down my blog because of my lack of time to make and post cards. Instead I will try to post more regularly with a variety of things. Please bear with me while I attempt to expand my topics.

Happy Spring

Needless to say, I did not get any Easter cards made this year.  I was too busy making First Communion cards for card-making ministry.  So I decided to make some Happy Spring cards.  This adorable little chick is from A Muse.  Isn't she cute?  And I have always been a fan of Bo-Bunny Press patterned paper.  The one I chose for this card is called Baby Girl Plaid.  I used leftover Bazzill white Scor-It embossed card fronts as well as Bazzill Bling to mat the pattern paper and the stamp image.  The scallop circles were punched with the SU! scallop punch.  The image is colored with SU! markers So Saffron, Certainly Celery, and Pretty in Pink as well as Zig marker Pure Orange.  I stamped the image and the sentiment with Memory Box black ink.  I am thinking about lining the envelopes with a companion pattern to the Baby Girl Plaid.  :-)
Thanks for stopping by.  And oh, Happy Spring!
