Suzie Card-Maker

Welcome!

I LOVE to create greeting cards. This is a place
for me to share some of my favorite cards with family,
fellow card-makers,and friends.
Update: Since I began this card-making blog in 2009, we have moved to a warm, sunny place, retired, and gotten very busy. Even though my love of making cards has not lessened, my time "for" card-making has diminished. I had actually considered taking down my blog because of my lack of time to make and post cards. Instead I will try to post more regularly with a variety of things. Please bear with me while I attempt to expand my topics.

Our ministry is now working on Christmas cards. I am making 77 of this design. The cardstock in green and red is Bazzill. The white paper between is a shimmer paper. The candle stamp is one of the $1 stamps from Michael's. The ribbon is from my stash of ribbon! The embossed Christmas design on the red paper is done with a Cuttlebug embossing folder. I have all the parts cut out or punched out, the white and red papers adhered to each other, some adhered to the green card base, all the candle images stamped and punched out, all the green scalloped ovals punched, but need to "color" all the images! Better get back to work. :-)
