Suzie Card-Maker
Welcome!
I LOVE to create greeting cards. This is a place
for me to share some of my favorite cards with family,
fellow card-makers,and friends.
Update: Since I began this card-making blog in 2009, we have moved to a warm, sunny place, retired, and gotten very busy. Even though my love of making cards has not lessened, my time "for" card-making has diminished. I had actually considered taking down my blog because of my lack of time to make and post cards. Instead I will try to post more regularly with a variety of things. Please bear with me while I attempt to expand my topics.

A card to post (finally) . . .
Finally ... a card to share. It isn't my personalize design, but it is a variation of someone else's creativity. SU! Real Red and Night of Navy card stock was used for this card as well as Very Vanilla. I love the SU! corner and border scallop punches which I used here. The sentiment was stamped on the Very Vanilla and then punched out with another SU! punch. Online I learned how to punch two more pieces in the Night of Navy and cut one lengthwise and the other in half vertically. By putting these four pieces together, you get a "mat" for the sentiment piece. Credit for the card design goes to LeeAnn. Thanks so much, LeeAnn!
